Cross Country State Champs 2018

We could not be prouder of the Erath High School Girls CC Team for their 4th Place finish in the Class 3A State Championship Meet held at Northwestern State University. The team was paced by Chloe Hardin, followed by Lauren Sonnier, Emily Harrington, Catherine Sonnier, Heather Green, Rilee Grace Stutes, and Ja'myra Diggs. The girls had a very successful season with several second place finishes to go along with their McNeese State CC Stampede Championship, Parish Championship, and District 8-3A Championship. The girls have a very bright future with 11 of the 12 girls able to return next year. We love you girls, thank you for a great season!!💙

We would like to congratulate the Erath High School Boys CC Team for an outstanding 2018 season. The Bobcats ran hard all season and placed well in every meet this year. The boys ranked number one early in the season before dropping to number 2 with only a few weeks left before State. They stayed confident and won the Parish and District 8-3A Championships before heading to the State Meet. Despite terrible course conditions and horrible weather, the Boys won the Class 3A State Championship. The team was led by Blaze Bright and Joel Allen who made the Class 3A All-State Team. They were followed by Jack Richard, Jason LeBlanc, Andrew Sonnier, Ashton Watson, and Javien Delasbour. Thank you boys! We will never forget this amazing season!!

We also had 3 student-athletes who were awarded the Academic All-State Composite Team Award: Emily Harrington, Adam Soileau, & Andrew Sonnier!! Way to Go Bobcats!! (Photo credits to Felecity Hardin & some other great parents & grandparents)
