Student HoCo Dress Days 2022

Monday(10/3):  Who Dunnit????Dress Theme:

  • Dress Theme: Lights, Cameras, Murder??? Join Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, and Colonel Mustard on the Red Carpet for day of Hollywood Glamour and Detective Work! Dress to impress whether that is a Tux and Ball gown or your Sunday Best and hope that you make it through lunch…

  • Lunch Time Activity:

  • Monday’s lunch time activity will differ from years past. Rather than participating in a ‘game,’ students will receive a colored token from their homeroom teacher to vote for who they believe the murder is! Each grade level will receive a different color.  Students will have received “Clues” throughout the day to the campus killer’s identity.

  •  The class who has the most correct votes will receive 1st place, etc.

  • 1st place= 5 points, 2nd place= 4 points, 3rd place= 3 points, 4th place= 2 points

Tuesday(10/4): The Game of Life

  • Dress Theme: Life’s a Game, so live it to the fullest! Dress to impress your new boss! Are you the new CEO of a Fortune 500 company, or what about a Marine Biologist with a new wetsuit?? Maybe you’re a tomato farmer or the newest EHS teacher, or maybe your career will take you to the stars as the newest member of SpaceX!

  • Lunch Time Activity:

  • Each class will need 6 participants (five trivia players and one game board piece).

  • Trivia players will answer questions about EHS, and teams who answer questions correctly will earn dice rolls for their game piece. After ten rounds of questions, 1st-4th place points will be awarded based on the location of each class’s board piece player

    (Player closest or across finish line will win 1st, etc.).

  • 1st place= 5 points, 2nd place= 4 points, 3rd place= 3 points, 4th place= 2 points

Wednesday(10/5):  Wild about Winning

  • Dress Theme: Dungeons and Dragons, Barrel of Monkeys, Mouse Trap, Oh My! EHS is wild about board games, and so should you! Your outfit should be inspired by an animal-themed board game or character! ROAR!

  • Lunch Time Activity:

  • Each class will need 12 participants (6 Navigators and 6 Collectors). Two players from each grade level will face off in six rounds. The collectors will lay on rollers/skateboards while the navigators move them forwards and backwards to collect balls. The total number of balls collected by each team will be counted each round, and the class with the highest number of balls collected a

    fter all six rounds will win 1st place, second highest number of balls collected

  • 1st place= 5 points, 2nd place= 4 points, 3rd place= 3 points, 4th place= 2 points

Thursday(10/6): Trapped in a Board Game

  • Dress Theme: EHS has been sucked into alternate universe filled with Board Game characters- how will YOU blend in?? Will you be a dice or a domino?? What about an Uno Reverse Card or the Monopoly  race car?? Then, there’s always Jenga blocks or the Operation patient!

  • Lunch Time Activity:

  • Each class will need 11 participants (10 Twister Players and 1 Wheel Spinner). Each participant will take part in Erath’s largest Twister Game! The Wheel Spinner from each class will take turns spinning the wheel and providing directions to their classmates. Twister players must navigate the large twister board filled with the participants from ALL teams. If a player is unable to complete the direction given to them or falls, they will be eliminated. 1st-4th place points will be awarded based on who lasts the longest

    and/or which classes have the most participants remaining at the end of the game.

  • 1st place= 5 points, 2nd place= 4 points, 3rd place= 3 points, 4th place= 2 points

Friday (10/7): Homecoming Day

  • Dress Theme: Show your support for the EHS football team as they gear up for Battle! Wear BLUE, BLACK, and/or White!

  • Students can also wear a current school uniform shirt with the appropriate uniform bottoms.  Students are strongly encouraged, as always, to support the Bobcats at the game as well!

  • No ‘Best Dress’ stickers/points will be awarded this day.

  • Details: Homecoming day details and schedule will be provided closer to the day of the event.
