$1.00 T-Shirt Tuesday-$1.00 T-Shirt for Technology Tuesday -Every Tuesday, students may wear their favorite T-shirt to school for a $1.00 fee. All T-shirts must comply with the Vermilion Parish Student Handbook dress code. Shirts displaying profanity, obscenity, or references to drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gangs, wrestling-related symbols, hate type slogans, or other inappropriate content are not permitted. Please Note: Participation is optional. Students may wear their regular uniform shirt at no cost.

- Open House for Grades 1-5 from 5:30- 6:30pm. All parents/ guardians of students in 1st- 5th grade are encouraged to attend. This is for Parents/Guardians only. No children should attend.

-$1 Spirit Friday – Full length Jeans & Athletic pants-Every Friday is Spirit Friday! For a $1.00 fee, students may wear full-length jeans or athletic pants with a Dozier Elementary spirit shirt or uniform shirt. Dozier joggers or uniform bottoms with a Dozier Elementary spirit shirt may be worn free of charge. Spirit shirts from previous school years are welcome. Participation is optional. Students who choose not to participate may wear their regular school uniform at no cost. All clothing must comply with the Vermilion Parish School Board dress code. Please refer to the Student Handbook for specific guidelines. *****Please note, painted and/or distressed jeans will not be permitted on Fridays.

-Numeracy Screener (K-3rd) All students in Kindergarten- 3rd will numeracy test.

-Progress Reports for grades 1-5 will be posted for students and parents to view in the JCAMPUS Student Progress Center. We will not be sending home a printed out copy of your child's Progress Report. Progress Reports will be posted by the end of the day on Friday, September 11th.

Dot Day- We will celebrate Dot Day! Students can wear polka dot accessories with school uniforms. Students may wear a polka dot shirt with uniform bottoms for $1 since this day falls on a Technology Tuesday.

-PreK Grandparent's Day-Grandparents of PreK students will be invited to a special Grandparent’s Day event on Friday, September 25 at 9 a.m.
PreK teachers will send home more information as well as RSVP papers.
