Drug and Bully Free Week at Dozier Elementary. Letter at https://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/2619/DES/2471387/October_is_Bullying_Prevention_Month.pdf
Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
I am excited to announce that Dozier Elementary will be celebrating Bullying and Drug Free Awareness during the month of October. Unfortunately, bullying is a growing problem in our society. It is estimated that 160,000 children miss school every day due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students (National Education Association). One out of seven students in Grades K-12 is either a bully or a victim of bullying. Another significant problem is drug use. In an effort to educate our students to be equipped to face the challenges they will face in the future, students will have a variety of activities that will help reinforce our belief against bullying and drug use. If you have any questions, please let me know.
During the week of October 24th, we will have theme dress up days. The schedule is as follows:
Monday, October 24th

Tuesday, October 25th
