3/7/24 4-H dance after school until 4 pm. $5 admission fee. You must pay your homeroom and get an arm band to enter the dance. Homeroom will start collecting money today and Thursday before the dance. Concessions will be sold at the dance.

Our final figure is Thurgood Marshall. As a lawyer and judge, Thurgood Marshall strived to protect the rights of all citizens. His legacy earned him the nickname "Mr. Civil Rights."Marshall succeeded in having the Supreme Court declare segregated public schools unconstitutional in Brown v. Board of Education (1954).
His quote is "Where you see wrong or inequality or injustice, speak out, because this is your country. This is your democracy. Make it. Protect it. Pass it on."
