EHS' New Assistant Principal
Erath High is proud to announce that Mr. Austin Touchet, a teacher at Erath High School, has recently been appointed to the position as their new assistant principal.
Austin is married to Bailey Dotson Touchet and together they have two children, William who is three, and Luke, who is one. He is the son of Francis and Kesha Touchet and the late Suzanne Touchet.
His father, Francis Touchet was an Erath High Principal for 10 years.
Austin Touchet is a 2013 EHS graduate as well as a 2017 UL graduate. He received his Master's Degree from Lamar University in 2022.

Central Office will be closed on Monday in observance of the 4th of July. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, July 5th at 7:30.

The 10-day review period for the district pupil progression plan is now available for review.
It can be found on the website by clicking the menu and looking under District Information. Any questions should be sent to shawri.landry@vpsb.net
This is a state mandated document and review period. It will be officially adopted at the July board meeting.

In the past full zip sweatshirts could be any color or design.
Update as of today for full zip and ¼ zip pullovers
1. Color must be solid navy, white, red, gray, black, or spirit/school team sweatshirts.
A couple of weeks ago, Marc Turner announced that he had accepted the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel position with Vermilion Parish Schools.
Dr. Belisa Smith was named officially the new Erath High Principal. Though she has been at EHS as Assistant Principal, we welcome Dr. Smith as the school’s new leader and bid Mr. Turner the best in his new role, as well.
Registration for Virtual Vermilion in grade 6-12 is now open. Registration closes on Friday, June 17th at 11:59 PM.

The registration forms for new credit and credit recovery courses will need to be completed with your guidance counselor at your base school. Please contact your school for information regarding courses your child made need to take and/or re-take during the summer.
