Dear Erath Community,
Please join us in this special project to make the last few weeks of high school special for our Senior Class of 2022. Linked below is a document we have created for our community members to write your own motivational messages to our graduates. Feel free to add pictures and personalize your message. It can include favorite memories with the Class of 2022, inspirational quotes and advice as they venture out into the real world. We know they'd love to hear from everyone who has cheered them on along the way. We will display these messages in our halls so seniors can read them for their final walk through before graduation.
Please address your letters to the class as a whole, not to one student in particular. Make sure to sign your letter and identify yourself.
If you can, please print your message and submit to the front office by Friday, April 8. If you can’t print, please share via email– Amy.LeBlanc@vpsb.net.
You can either type or hand write your message. It is totally up to you!

All Vermilion Parish Schools will be closed on Wednesday, March 30th based on advisement from the OEP and National Weather Service.
All school activities are cancelled until further notice for tomorrow.
In discussions with local superintendents, OEP, and the National Weather Service.
Changes to the weather forecast that includes stronger winds and storms than originally forecasted at the time of dismissal has us reevaluating the situation. We will provide a final decision once we receive more guidance. Thanks for your patience.
Vermilion Parish Schools will be in session on Wednesday, March 30th. Based on weather reports and conversations with the National Weather Center we are going to be in school. As always, weather is unpredictable and if changes are necessary you will be notified on the App, Facebook Page, and via text message.

Congratulations to EHS Senior, Thaovy Tran! Thaovy is the recipient of the JonCade Thomas Clemons Memorial Scholarship! This scholarship was established in memory of JonCade Thomas Clemons, who passed away at the age of 10. The intent of the fund is to continue to spread the positive attitude about life that he showed. Thaovy truly represents all that this award stands for. Not only is she a well-rounded student with a 4.0 GPA, a leader, a musician, and an athlete, but she exudes joy and spreads happiness with everyone that she meets.
This scholarship award is valued at $3,000 per semester for a total of $24,000.

Vermilion Parish Schools announced that REGISTRATION is OPEN for our 2022 BOOST VERMILION Summer Enrichment Program! This FREE program offers a variety of enrichment opportunities for PK-12 students of Vermilion Parish.
