We encourage students to bring bottled water to school but will be prepared to supply bottled water as well. Water fountains and sinks will be covered and we will use hand sanitizer in the restrooms. The cafeteria is also taking necessary precautions. City officials will notify the schools once the boil water advisory is lifted. Any 5th-8th grader who would like to run for student council class delegate must pick up a packet outside of Ms. Ashley’s room or the office and return it to Ms. Ashley Broussard today, Wednesday, August 14. Sign up to become a student council member at large will be held after the class delegate campaign. Kaplan is under a boil advisory so no one should drink out of water fountains or wash their hands in the sinks. We will have bottled water and hand sanitizer for everyone to use.
